T-MASK
Description:
Uniting style and protection in the battle against Covid
ABOUT:
In 2020, COVID-19 quickly turned into a global pandemic. Hospitals couldn't keep up, countless lives were lost, and governments in many countries put lockdowns in place to try and stop the virus. It didn't take long to realise that wearing masks was a big help in slowing down the spread of the virus. So, governments started making rules that people had to wear masks when they were outside. With straps breaking, people often forgetting their masks, and everyone looking the same, I felt the need to use my creativity to help in some way. That’s when I decided to team up with a fashion designer to make something both stylish and practical. We created an all-in-one t-shirt and mask that had a cyberpunk, dystopian look to fit with the crazy times we were living in. Made from 100% organic cotton, T-MASK had a pocket for a carbon filter and could also double as a stylish turtleneck.
