ABOUT:
Desperados is the fastest growing “beyond beer” brand in Heineken’s portfolio, known across Europe for its tequila-flavoured kick and for its epic clubbing experiences and party spirit. So to help the brand take the party to the next level and infuse the beer with something more meaningful, we took inspiration from the product itself - unusual and playful - and positioned it as the choice beverage of those who love to step out of their comfort zone and dare to try something different. This inspired the creation of “Pour Some Unusual on Your Usual”, a global brand campaign and platform launched in The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Spain and Nigeria, featuring the most unexpected partygoers, all set to the rhythm of "Non, je ne regrette rien" by Édith Piaf. In a whirlwind 3-day shoot in Cape Town, we borrowed multiple mansions that felt as if they were lifted straight out of a rapper's music video, transforming them into a vibrant house party buzzing with over 100 extras.
